Instructions for Candidates to attend the Entrance Exam and Personal Interview

Candidates who applied for the MSW programme (Community Development and Medical & Psychiatry), with 60% and above, are eligible to attend the Entrance Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview on 22^ndJune 2024 (Saturday) from 8:00 a.m. Onward at Madras Christian College.

Venue: Examination Hall, Main Building, MCC

Venue: CIRDS Hall, Department of Social Work (Aided), Near MCC Farm
10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.	Orientation (For Candidates and Parents/ Guardians )
11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.	Group Discussion
12:00 Noon Onwards	Personal Interview
Parents/ Guardians must accompany the candidates for the Orientation. Candidates are requested to bring all their original certificates; NSS, NCC, YRC, RRC Certificates, If any, will be given due recognition.

Post Graduate Entrance Test Schedule 2024

Entrance Test Batch – I	07.06.2024
Entrance Test Batch – II	12.06.2024

The Entrance Test will be for 90 minutes duration for 50 marks (with 35 objective type questions for 35 marks and descriptive questions for 15 marks). Ranking will be based on marks of qualification exam and entrance exam.
The list of applicants who are shortlisted for the entrance test / selection procedure will be put up in the College Website and the applicants will also be informed through email.
Entrance Test / selection procedure will be held at Madras Christian College Chennai. Applicants who do not appear for entrance test on the specified date and time will not be considered for admission.
The list of provisionally selected candidates for admission will be published in the College Website. Selected candidate will also be informed through email.

Applicants to the following PG programs will be shortlisted and informed about the selection procedure separately.

The marks of the qualifying examination alone will be considered for shortlisting (No entrance test will be conducted) for the following programs.

Provisionally selected candidates must pay fees and report on the given date and time failing which their admission will be automatically cancelled.
Apart from paying the fees, admitted candidates must surrender all their original certificates listed for further processing of admission.
