The Students Service for the Differently Abled is a voluntary service unit of the College providing academic/logistical assistance to the differently abled students of the college. It is currently managed by a President (Prof. David Abraham Albert) and a Vice-President (Prof. Udayaraj of the English Department [Aided Stream]) and a band of student volunteers drawn from both the Aided and Self-Financed Streams. The focus of the Students Service for the Differently Abled lies in providing scribing/reading services for the Differently Abled students during the Continuous Assessment tests. It also helps with logistical assistance for differently abled students with economic/financial setbacks.
The Students Service for the Differently Abled also works in close co-operation with the following partners: NIVH, CFBI, NIEPMD, Help the Blind Foundation and Welfare Association for the Blind. We wish to place on record the various forms of assistance (educational equipment and logistical support) that we have received from all our partners periodically.
We are thankful to all our patrons (college authorities), donors, sponsors, well-wishers and volunteers for their kind assistance and selfless service.
