Dear Professors/Researchers/Academicians,
We are pleased to invite you to an awareness meeting on the utilisation of in-house and large-scale DAE facilities. This event is organised by the UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research (UGC-DAE CSR), Kalpakkam Centre, the Department of Physics at Madras Christian College, East Tambaram, Chennai, and the Department of Nanoscience & Technology at Alagappa University, Karaikudi.
The UGC-DAE CSR, an Inter-University Centre, supports research by providing teaching faculty with access to the Consortium’s in-house facilities and DAE’s large-scale facilities. The Collaborative Research Scheme (CRS) is a flagship program that allows university and college faculty to use these facilities.
This workshop will be held online on September 23, 2025, @ 10.00 AM and will explore the concepts of the Collaborative Research Scheme in an interactive format. The program includes discussions on activities at various centers, such as:
• Synchrotron beamlines and in-house facilities at the Indore Centre.
• Neutron scattering and other BARC facilities at the Mumbai Centre.
• Cyclotron and Ion Beam Laboratory facilities at the Kolkata Centre.
• Ion Accelerator and in-house facilities at the Kalpakkam Centre.
Researchers from all universities, affiliated colleges, and other institutes in the fields of
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Engineering sciences are welcome to attend.
