Biography

With a passion for the power of storytelling across media, Mr. Sachin Benner Raj brings a vibrant blend of industry expertise and academic insight into the classroom. He teaches various courses, including Graphic Design, Photography, Photojournalism, Radio Journalism, Audio and Video Production, Newspaper and Magazine Design, and Internship Coordination, all crafted to prepare students for dynamic roles in modern media.

Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Media and Communication, his research deepens into Health Communication, Artificial Intelligence in Advertising, and the transformative role of Medical Television Dramas in public awareness. His work bridges the critical intersection between media technology and social consciousness.

He has contributed richly to academic literature as the author, co-author, and editor of three books: “Beyond Borders: Media as a Catalyst for SDG Goal 17”, “Industry 4.0: Navigating Frontiers through Innovation”, and “Good Health and Well-being: Heal the World”. His research titled “The Dawn of Adivasi Cinema: A Tamil Cultural Analysis of Adivasi Representation in Jai Bhim with Special Reference to Thani Marabu and Silapathikaram Parallelism” has been published in the Malaysian Journal of Tamil, exploring nuanced intersections of language, culture, and media representation.
