Biography

Dr Ishvar Mohan has a strong foundation in both teaching and applied research. He currently teaches undergraduate courses in research methodology, statistics, organisational psychology, psychological testing, and intergroup relations. His classes focus on both theoretical concepts and hands-on learning, helping students critically evaluate empirical studies, design research projects, and apply statistics in practical settings.

His research interests combine academic inquiry with practical application, emphasising interdisciplinary approaches. He has published work on topics such as gaming and adolescent suicidal ideation, demonstrating a commitment to addressing important psychological issues. He also contributed to a UGC-UPE project aimed at developing a comprehensive battery of tests based on Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences, blending psychometric principles with educational innovation.

His research often integrates diverse perspectives to address complex problems. In addition to academic work, he has experience working with two startups in psychometrics and healthcare organisational development. His roles included that of a senior research associate involved in psychometric game development and applied research to improve organisational effectiveness. These experiences bring valuable industry insights to his teaching and research.
