Mr Arul T is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism. He holds a Bachelor’s in Visual Communication from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (2018) and a Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science, Coimbatore (2021). With over two years of teaching experience, he teaches core subjects such as Media Laws and Ethics, Film Studies, and Videography Practicals. His academic interests span both media theory and practical production, and he is passionate about helping students develop strong conceptual foundations alongside industry-relevant skills. He has cleared the UGC-NET examination during his postgraduate studies and actively mentors aspiring candidates in preparing for the NET in Journalism and Communication. Beyond academics, he serves as the NCC Officer for the Self-Financed Stream (SFS) at MCC. In this role, he plays a key part in instilling values of discipline, leadership, and service among cadets. Dedicated to student growth, he combines academic rigour with hands-on learning to create an engaging and supportive educational environment. His commitment to teaching and mentorship continues to inspire and impact students meaningfully.
