Statistics

The Department of Statistics was established in 1969, though undergraduate course in Statistics were started back in in 1962. The department offers courses with comprehensive combination of Statistics, Computer Applications, managerial Economics and Operational Research. The department has a well-established “Gift Siromoney Statistical Computing Laboratory”. The salient feature of the department is the practical training to the students by way of conduction Public Opinion, Socio-economic and Tribal Surveys.
