As part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the Department of Political Science, it is our privilege and honour to invite you and your family for a REUNION OF OUR ALUMNI, not only to reminiscence but also to honour our Professors and to have a look into the future at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday the 16 December 2023, in the Anderson Hall.
We regret the inconvenience caused to each one of you in the earlier attempt to have the reunion on 12 August 2023. Hence, we are better organised this time and seek your cooperation to make this reunion a success.
The Students and Staff are immense proud to inform you that an Endowment was instituted on 15 September 2023 in the name of our former Head of the Department and former Principal, Dr. Alexander Mantramurti. It was formally instituted by former Principal Dr. Mithra G. Augustine. Mr. P. W. C. Davidar, I.A.S (Retd.), former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, delivered the first Endowment Lecture. Mr. V. A. Ravikumar, IPS (Retd.), former Additional Commissioner of Police, Chennai, felicitated Dr. Alexander Mantramurti on the occasion.
A Souvenir to mark this historic occasion (1963-2023 Diamond Jubilee Celebration) will also be released, and we solicit your kind support through articles, anecdotes, pictures and sponsorship.
