Admission Notice

The selection of candidates will be based on merit and reservation norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Eligible applications received with complete academic details until midnight of 15th May 2024( 10 days from the publication of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary results) will be ranked and considered for selection. However, applications will continue to be received from 16th May 2024 until further notice and eligible applications will be considered for admission based on the remaining vacancies.

Note

If applicants who have already registered and entered academic details are interested in applying for other programmes, they may do so by selecting the programme and paying the application fees.Personal and academic details need not be entered since they have already been uploaded while registering for the former programme.

UG Admission

  • The Online application portal will be open from 05.04.2024.
  • Plus two marks are mandatory for applying. 10th and 11th standard marks will not be accepted.
  • Candidates who have completed 12th in the previous years and other Board students who have received their mark statements can also apply.
  • Admissions will start only after the 12th results are declared by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
  • Kindly read the instructions and prospectus thoroughly before submitting the online application. Incomplete or applications with wrong data will be considered invalid.
  • On successful registration of the online application and payment of the application fees, you will receive a Unique Identification Number (UIN) through SMS and E-mail to your registered mobile number and E-mail id.
  • On completion of filing of academic details you would receive an SMS and email with Application number(s) and UIN which can be used for future reference.
  • No offline admissions will be done in the College. Hard Copies of the application form will not be sold in the College.
  • No free applications will be given for Self-Financed Courses and PG Courses.

PG Admission

  • Candidates can apply with five-semester marks
  • Candidates need to upload semester mark sheets and relevant documents while applying online.
  • PG Applicants must apply using Result Published login ( Don't use Awaiting Result login)
  • PG applicants don't have a provision for updating their marks later. Marks, once entered, cannot be changed or updated.

How to fill the forms

  • Start by clicking “Admissions 2024 – 2025”.
  • If you are a new user, click Sign Up for registration. Registered candidates can login using Unique Identification Number.
  • Select Degree / Programme. (Multiple programmes can be selected.)
  • Fill in Personal information.
  • Fill in Academic details.
  • Proceed to online payment to complete the application process.
  • Note: Candidates whose results have been published can enter Academic details and complete the application process. Candidates awaiting results can update Academic details once results are published using Unique Identification Number.
  • After successful payment, MCC Unique Identification Code will be generated and will be sent to your registered mobile number and E-mail ID
  • Use this MCC Unique Identification Number and Application Number for further reference.
  • The admissions office will contact the candidates only through their registered mobile number and E-mail address.
  • You are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of the College throughout the admission process.
  • Applications with incorrect/manipulated information will be immediately rejected. Payment of incorrect application fee will also lead to non-consideration of the application.
  • Selected candidates will be intimated through their registered mobile number and E-mail address. A list of selected students will also be displayed on the College website. Admission/Enrollment card will be sent to your registered E-mail address.
  • Admission to any course does not guarantee Hall (Hostel) accommodation. Application should be submitted separately to the Dean of Students Affairs (DSA) for Hall accommodation after enrollment to the course by payment of course fees.

The college does not accept donations for admission.  If anyone promises admission on payment of donation in cash or kind, it must be brought to the notice of the Principal immediately. If not, it will lead to the cancellation of admission.

All information provided by applicants must be true, complete, and correct. Nothing is to be concealed or distorted. If any information is found false or incorrect, admission will be cancelled at any stage without any notice or compensation in lieu thereof.

Application procedure is completely online. There will be no sale of application forms in the College premises.

UG Aided Stream

  • A pass in the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination.
  • Plus two marks are a must for applying. (Please note that you cannot apply with 10th or 11th Standard Marks).
  • The upper age limit for admission to UG courses is 21 years as on 1st July 2024. Relaxation of 5 years is permitted for differently-abled and 3 years for women students.
  • Candidates from Boards other than Tamil Nadu State Board, CBSE, AISSCE and ISCE must produce an Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras. All candidates who pass the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu State Board by PRIVATE STUDY and PRIVATE candidates from CBSE or under the OPEN SCHOOL SYSTEM should also produce an Eligibility Certificate.
  • The College offers Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Sanskrit, German and French as Part I Language for the aided courses. A student can opt for any one of these languages. For Tamil and Hindi, the candidate should have studied the subject as a second language in X and XII standards.

  • During Certificate verification, students have to report with their parents. Please avoid coming with Siblings and Local Guardians. The presence of parent is compulsory during certificate verification,  failing which certificate verification will not be done.
  • Outstation students should compulsorily furnish the details of the local guardian during certificate verification. 
  • Students should come only on the date specified for certificate verification.
