Biography

His research is focused on organic synthesis and polymer membrane synthesis for waste water treatment.  He has published more than twenty research articles in reputed journals and authored two book chapters. He has filled US (2009/0131678) and WO (2005/092839) patents for the synthesize of 3,3′, 4,4′-Tetraminobiphenyl (TAB) which is used as a monomer to synthesize PBI membranes.

Before joining MCC, he has completed two funded projects as principal investigator from DST SERB Start-Up Research Grant (Young Scientist 2014-2017) and UGC DAE CSR collaborative research project (2014-2017) with IGCAR, Kalpakkam, while serving as a faculty at Vel Tech R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. He was also involved in the DST – GITA Indo- Korea project “Design and Development of Autonomous Amphibious Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and UAV mountable water sampling devices for Water Based Applications” as co- principal investigator for water quality analysis. He has guided two research scholars for their doctoral degrees.
