Biography

Mrs ARUNA.J has been teaching at Madras Christian College since 2011 in the Department of English. An experienced teacher who has been teaching for more than 25 years is specifically interested in English language Teaching and Indian Writings in English and translation. Her areas of specialization include New Historicism and Subaltern literature. She teaches Romantic poetry and fiction, American Literature, Indian Writings in English, Subaltern writings, Children’s Literature, English Language Teaching and English for Careers for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. She has presented papers at National and International Conferences. Her recent publications in UGC CARE Journals include-
