Campus School, a primary school started chiefly for the benefit of the staff children, was established in June 1985 with 11 girls and boys, and has grown to more than 400 students with classes from kindergarten to the 5th standard. It is run on a non-profit basis for children of the College staff and of the Tambaram community. The teacher -student ratio is 1:14, with highly qualified teachers on the staff. The school recently acquired new buildings with barrier free access and large playgrounds.

The school's motto "Learning with Joy - Love of Learning" reflects how the teachers and students alike participate in the learning process. Students develop their capabilities all-round, with opportunities for music, dance, sports and nature club activities. Computer, music, library, scripture/ethics, and reading skills are all an integral part of the curriculum based on the ICSE syllabus. English is the medium of instruction and all students study Tamil and Hindi in addition to English. The child's responsibility for his / her own learning is emphasized in a supportive atmosphere of cooperation. Character is rounded out by healthy competition in sports and games. "When a child joins Campus school, the family joins" is an important tenet of the school.

The annual Christmas program is one of the highlights of the academic year. Every child takes part in the delightful presentation of dance, drama, recitation, songs and music in English, Tamil and Hindi. The school conducts general health checkup annually. Other features include nature camps, special events, book sales, sports meets, and numerous field trips. The school bus provides safe transportation.

The Campus School committee headed by a Correspondent (a faculty member) manages the affairs of the School.
