Teaching
Ms. Abitha started her teaching career in St. Joseph’s College, Trichy where she was also a research student. She worked in Fatima College, Madurai for two years before she was appointed in Madras Christian College for a UGC-FIP Vacancy. She enjoys teaching Translated Classics, Women’s Studies, Diasporic Literature and Critical Theories.

Research
Ms. Phebe's areas of interest in research include psychology, new historicist studies, narratology and realism.
