"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life"John 3:16

The essence of the bible is experienced in the above verse, where God will never ever relinquish us, he goes to the extent of sacrificing his beloved Son for us to enjoy his creation and experience his goodness and love. No other verse in the bible so succinctly outlines God's relationship with humanity and the way of salvation.  The extent of that love—so great that he sacrificed his only Son on our behalf. The verse teaches us that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, will be saved. It gives us the glorious hope of eternal life in heaven through the love of God and death of Jesus Christ. There is no more powerful way to deliver this message than to let John 3:16 speak for itself. This important question “Whom does God love?" must be answered.  The most common explanation which is given for this expression, "the world," is that God loves all men, every individual member of the human race. Because he loved all men, God gave His only begotten Son who died for the whole world, that is, for all men, thus making provision for all men to be saved. And now it is up to us to believe or not to believe, to embrace the love of God or not to embrace it, to be saved and to have eternal life, or to perish.

Christ is God's beloved son, and our beloved saviour. He has given us the freedom of choice; He is our provider, instituted proper ordinances so that we do good to all. Good purposes and good beginnings are good things, but not enough; thoughts and affections, words and actions, agreeable to the spirit is of primary importance. Loving and respecting our parents, teachers and elders unconditionally and heed to the needy is essential for good living.   Where grace does not work, corruption will. We should nourish our soul with humility, meekness, love, & patience and not the disdain of the world such as pride, passion, discontent and malice. We should lead our lives praying and praising God. Through His goodness and love God created a world for us to nuture it with love, compassion, solidarity and brotherhood. Let us bring forth fruit with patience and resilience, that in the end we may obtain everlasting life. It is for this only reason that God sacrificed His only Son and we should not let it go in vain or haste. Let us be an instrument of His good works and make our life meaningful and resourceful for humankind. For in John 14:6, when Thomas said to Jesus ‘Lord, we know not where you go; and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him,” I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” We praise God for He is the only way the truth and the life.
