The second Women’s Hall

It is great news. Another women’s hall is being constructed with the UGC assistance of 1.86 crores. It is expected to accommodate another 140 girls on the campus.

Martin Hall expansion

Another block is added to the Martin Hall which can accommodate another fifty girl students, taking the total to 210 in Martin Hall.

Macnicol’s Lounge

The Macnicol’s women’s rest room is being expanded

Media studies building

A building for the benefit of Visual Communication journalism and communications departments is coming up adjacent to The Miller Memorial Library.

Pulicat dormitory

MCC had setup research laboratory at pulicat in the 60’s. A dormitory is being added to the laboratory. In order to provide facility for the students of the college especially from zoology and marine studies.

International social work

An office building and an accommodation facility is coming up as part of the international Social work programme.

Digitization of Library

A small portion in the Miller Library is being developed to digitize the existing books and journals.

Two generators

Two generators with 250KWA each is the latest addition setup to meet the power shortage on the campus.
