BRIEF PROFILE:

Dr.S.John Gabriel is a Senior faculty having 30 years of teaching experience in the Department of Commerce 
• His areas of specialisation are Accounting, Finance, Marketing and International business.
• Published 46 research papers in both National & International refereed journals.
• Presented 46 research papers at National and International conferences & seminars.
• Guided 21 M.Phil scholars and 176 M.Com & MBA projects.
• Thirteen Ph.D scholars have successfully completed and six Ph.D scholars have completed their thesis and waiting for viva. Also, at present four Ph.D scholars are pursuing their degree under his able guidance.
• Serving as Dean of Research and Development of the College since June, 2017 onwards.
• Served as External Chief Superintendent of Examination ,VC Nominee and University nominee, Member-Board of Examination, Board of Studies member, Member of Academic Audit committee, for many autonomous colleges in Chennai and Universities such as Madras University, Pondicherry University, SRM University and Tamil Nadu Open University. 
• University nominee to the Board of Studies of Dept. of Bank Management at D.G.Vaishnav College,Arumbakkam,Chennai for two Academic years from 2014-16.
• Vice Chancellor’s Nominee and subject expert for the Dept. of Commerce, SDNB Vaishnav College,Chrompet,Chennai-44 for two academic years from 2013-15.
