Advertisement for Junior Project Fellow (JPF) position in a SERB-DST funded research project

Applications are invited from the highly motivated candidates for the post of Junior Project Fellow (JPF) under the SERB-DST (SERB/CRG/2020/001605) funded research project titled ‘Taxonomy, Molecular Phylogeny and Biogeography of Lepidagathis Willd. (Acanthaceae) in India’. This position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, which is extendable up to three years, solely based on performance. The details of the recruitment norms and procedure are mentioned below:

  • EligibilityFirst class Master’s Degree in Botany/Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Sciences from the UGC recognised University/Institution.
  • DesirableWorking experience in Plant Taxonomy, Ecology and Phylogenetic Systematics.
  • Age LimitNot more than 28 years (SC/ST/OBC/Women/PWD candidates will get relaxation as per Government of India Rules)
  • FellowshipRs. 16,000 + HRA per month (fixed)
